Latest News: La Casita Criolla, Fausto, Avion, The Old Man and the C, and the Wolfman Monster Series
La Casita Criolla comes in three sizes and is one hundred percent Broadleaf. The Fausto comes in four sizes and has an Ecuador Habano Maduro wrapper with Nicaraguan binder and filler, and has a lot of higher primings giving this cigar more bold flavors. The Avion is something of a spin off of the Fausto, and is a box press perfecto. There are a lot of intense spicy flavors, especially upon lighting the cigar, with a very easy draw and a lot of bold flavor (perhaps make your cut smaller than usual and test the draw for comfort). The Avion has been released in this one size, and will be released with a new size each year.
The “Old Man and the C” refers to the original El Triunfador Lancero (one of my favorites which I have missed) and the C for culebra. This includes the lancero along with a culebra- three cigars intertwined and tied together, which are then gently separated by hand and smoked individually. Culebra’s are fun to smoke as aesthetically they are “bent” looking cigars, but draw and smoke normally.
